SLEEPING IN A DUX BED
The DUX bed has a unique, interconnected spring system that adjusts itself to the weight and shape of your body. Your shoulders and hips sink in while your lower back is supported. Important pressure points – especially your spine – is in balance and your blood can circulate as it should because your muscles are able to relax.
Using EEG to measure electrical activity in the brain, indepentent researchers at Stockholm’s Karolinska Institutet have performed studies to investigate how different beds affect the body and sleep**. Their results showed that participants who slept in DUX® beds reached the Deep Sleep stage more quickly and remained there longer – approximately one hour more every night.
**There are three main types of sleep: Superficial Sleep, REM Sleep, and Deep Sleep. The Deep Sleep or Delta Wavesleep stage is characterized by the slowest frequency brain waves and is the least like our waking hours. It isuniversally accepted that the body and mind rest and recuperate best during Deep Sleep.
